About Me
I was born and raised in Westchester, Miami, and feel a deep connection to my community. My passion for science and desire to help others led me to pursue a career in medicine. After graduating from Christopher Columbus High School, I stayed close to home, earning degrees from the University of Miami and the University of Miami School of Medicine. I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and even served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. I’ve now spent 27 fulfilling years in private practice.
I chose primary care because it allows me to treat a wide variety of conditions and build lasting relationships with my patients throughout their lives.
Beyond my practice, I’m committed to giving back. I was honored to receive the Teacher of the Year award from Miami Dade College for my work with Physician Assistant students. I also find great meaning in participating in mission trips to Central America and the Caribbean and enjoy spending my free time relaxing on the beach.
